The Sweetest “Chocolate Brownies” In The World!!!

This is a great recipe for easy, fail-safe, gloriously gooey chocolate brownies! Enjoy!


2 ¼ sticks unsalted butter

2 ¼ cups sugar

¼ cup vanilla sugar

4 eggs

2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder

2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted

1 tbsp baking powder

Pinch of salt

1 ½ cups almond meal (ground almonds)



Preheat the oven to 350F. Slowly melt the butter in a wide saucepan. Add the sugar and vanilla sugar and mix. Remove from the heat and stir in the eggs one at a time.

Add the cocoa powder and stir with a whisk, then add the flour, baking powder, salt, and almond meal, mixing until smooth.

Pour the mixture into a nonstick baking pan and smooth the surface. Bake in the preheated oven for about 35 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool. Invert out of the pan and cut into 1 ½ -inch squares. Serve warm, with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, if liked.

TIP: For a more intense chocolate flavor, chop some dark chocolate and stir into the brownie batter.
