Simple And Delicious Toffee!!!

This simple and delicious recipe will give you the pleasure to discover the rich taste of the caramelizing sugar and almonds


2 cups of butter

2 cups of sugar

1/4 tsp salt

2 cups chocolate for cooking

1 cup chopped almonds



In a pan put the butter, sugar and salt. Cook on a low heat until the butter is melt. Let the mixture boil and change the color like an amber, reaching the temperature of 137 Celsius degrees. During the cooking swirls the mixture occasionally.

Until you cook the mixture, place grease proof paper or aluminum foil on the cooking desk.

When the mixture reaches the temperature pour it over the grease proof paper or aluminum foil. Sprinkle chocolate on top and when is soften brush it with a knife, then sprinkle the almonds and gently press it. Cover your hand with a plastic bag when you do this so you don’t make a mess.

Add the toffee into the fridge to harden, then break it down on small pieces and put it in a closed container.
