Incredibly Delicious-Chocolate Banoffee Pie!!!

I’ve made this classic Banoffe pai with dulce de leche cream so many times, because this combination of caramel and banana is amazing. This time is caramel cream with condensed milk and chocolate, for the chocolate lovers this is a real pleasure in a combination with bananas, the flavor of cookie dough and whipped cream will give you an experience of softness and deliciousness.

For the crust:

250 g grounded integral biscuit Digestive

125 g butter

2 tbsp cocoa

1 package vanilla sugar

For the cream:

397 g condensed milk (1 can)

100 g butter

50 g sugar

50 g dark brown soft sugar

100 g chocolate (for cooking)

2-3 bananas

4 dcl cream

150 g chocolate for decoration

You’ll need a mold with dimensions of 20 cm.

For the crust:

Melt the butter and mix it with the grounded biscuit, cocoa and vanilla sugar. Put this mixture into the mold and spread all over the mold with high of about 5-6 cm. Let it cool down for a while.

For the cream:

In a pan with double bottom melt the butter together with both types of sugar on a low heat, mix until all the sugar is melted. Add the condensed milk and cook it for about 10 minutes on low heat with constantly mixing it. You must be careful because the condensed milk can burn, if you don’t have the right pan cook it on steam for 15 minutes. When it’s done add the cubes of chocolate so they will melt and then leave it to cool down to room temperature.

In the mold with the dough for the crust add bananas, then the cream with condensed milk and the whipped cream. Leave it in the fridge through the night.

Do not increase the amount of the cream, because the cream is with very rich flavor so the amounts in this recipe are enough.

For the chocolate curls on top of the cake you should use good quality chocolate.
